Fight day breakfast!
So after a week of a hard weight cutting diet, followed by 3 salt baths I made it to 61.7kg I had to make bantam weight which is 62kg but continued sweating throughout the car journey to where we weighed in. Here is the list of food that I ate yesterday following the weigh ins at mid day,
Water with lemon, hymalayan sea salt and honey in it (drinking 4 litres of that throughout the day)
1 litre of coconut water,
1 apple straight after weigh ins.
Bowl of porridge with fruit and seeds in.
9 bar and a bit of fruit.
Then about an hour or so later quinoa, salmon salad followed by fruit and yogurt
Sweet potato fries with a champion chilli sauce and turkey meatballs
Fruit and yogurt
Finally a 9 bar with a cup of tea
After all that I have woken up this morning at 68.2kg so today, I am hoping to be the bigger, stronger and more powerful man in the cage. We’ll see tonight though!
