Just realised I haven’t blogged since my weigh ins! I recently won my last fight, bringing me to 5-0! It was a tough one but thoroughly enjoyed getting the decision! I’ll put up more soon!

Just made some healthy tacos with some home made guacamole! Despite the first one being very messy, they tasted real good!

Fight day breakfast!

So after a week of a hard weight cutting diet, followed by 3 salt baths I made it to 61.7kg I had to make bantam weight which is 62kg but continued sweating throughout the car journey to where we weighed in. Here is the list of food that I ate yesterday following the weigh ins at mid day,

Water with lemon, hymalayan sea salt and honey in it (drinking 4 litres of that throughout the day)
1 litre of coconut water,
1 apple straight after weigh ins.
Bowl of porridge with fruit and seeds in.
9 bar and a bit of fruit.
Then about an hour or so later quinoa, salmon salad followed by fruit and yogurt
Sweet potato fries with a champion chilli sauce and turkey meatballs
Fruit and yogurt
Finally a 9 bar with a cup of tea

After all that I have woken up this morning at 68.2kg so today, I am hoping to be the bigger, stronger and more powerful man in the cage. We’ll see tonight though!

The closer I am getting I Friday (day of weigh-ins) the more food blogs I keep looking at. Torturing myself!

One week and 2 days from weigh-ins. I’m competing at 62kg (bantam weight) for the first time so slightly nervous, and currently weighing 66.8 so a gentle fat burner run was needed this morning (these were my views). Also, a salt bath or 2 on the morning of the weigh-in will be needed. I’m glad I have such a good team of people around me to advise and help me out with these things. Also listening too and being such a big follower of the Dolce diet, I have certainly picked up plenty of tips on the matter. It’s the day before weigh-ins so it not the worst thing to do, so I will be having a salt bath. I’m also going to be very well prepared in the matter of hydrating and refuelling with good earth grown nutrients, more that most people I’d like to think!
